The Supreme Court granted leave in part: it allowed appeal on whether s 182(6) ousts the Court's jurisdiction to vary the settlement and on whether the Court of Appeal erred in upholding the Family Court's exercise of jurisdiction under s 182, but refused leave on whether the arrangement was a 'settlement' because the Court of Appeal's conclusion on that issue was undoubtedly correct and the appellant's contentions were not sufficiently arguable.
