Court conducted a de novo assessment under s252, gave effect to the disciplinary finding by excluding reliance on the invoice itself but held that reasonable remuneration could still be recovered on quantum meruit; accepted expert file-review evidence (McMenamin) on hours (assessed credible hours) and fixed a blended reasonable hourly rate of $375 producing a fee entitlement of $525,000; directed the Official Assignee to accept the proof of debt for $525,000 plus GST and verifiable disbursements.
