On the balance of probabilities ACC had a sufficient evidential basis to conclude the appellant's ongoing symptoms were due to pre-existing or longstanding calcific tendonitis not causally linked to the 11 July 2007 lifting accident; therefore the necessary causal nexus between the covered accident and current condition no longer existed and ACC lawfully suspended entitlements under s117(1).
