On the balance of probabilities the appellant's bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome was not caused by his employment as required by s30(2); the exposure period and evidence were insufficient to establish work as the cause and the preponderant medical opinion was that the condition was idiopathic or not causally attributable to workplace exposures.
