On the balance of probabilities the appellant proved that performing the sewing/machinist employment task produced a significantly greater risk of osteo-arthritic cervical disorder for persons in that role than for persons not performing that task in that environment, supported by expert medical evidence (Dr Hancock, Professor Glass) and epidemiological literature; therefore s.7(1)(c) is satisfied and the appellant is entitled to cover; the Review Officer's contrary conclusion is revoked.
