The will was ambiguous as to the time for ascertaining the class and, because there was a life tenant, the Court applied the first rule of convenience; it held the trustee's inquiries and advertising were reasonable and sufficient and therefore determined the class to comprise the nine named grandchildren who must share the residuary estate equally.
