Leave to appeal was dismissed because the applicant had abandoned his conviction appeal in the Court of Appeal (which must be addressed by applying to that court to withdraw the abandonment and reinstate the appeal) and the sentence appeal did not raise any point of principle nor any risk of substantial miscarriage of justice.
