Appeal allowed. Court found the parties were in a de facto relationship but that the couple did not live together 'as a couple' until mid–late 2008, making the relationship one of short duration under s 2E. Applying s 14A the Court ordered base relationship property of $462,611.33 be divided 70% to appellant and 30% to respondent. Under s 9A the Court attributed 25% of the $115,113 increase in company shares to respondent (75% to appellant). The District Court costs award in respondent's favour on a 2B basis was upheld; no costs on appeal; limited suppression/redactions ordered.
