Refund monies received or to be received by STA Travel from airlines and other travel providers in respect of cancelled contracts are held by STA Travel on trust for the particular customers to whom each refund relates; liquidators are entitled to deduct their costs and any unreimbursed funding advanced in relation to the Application and distribution of refunds prior to distribution; questions of reimbursement to banks/financial institutions where customers have already been compensated are reserved for further application due to insufficient evidence.
