The District Court erred by failing adequately to adjust the uplift for offending while subject to sentence to avoid double punishment for time spent in prison on recall; after adjusting the uplift and applying a proportionate guilty plea discount (18%) the appropriate sentence for the lead representative male-assaults-female charge is 13 months' imprisonment, with specified concurrent sentences for the other offences to be cumulative upon the earlier sentence imposed on 30 March 2015.
