Leave under s 248(1)(c)(i) granted because the prosecution was well advanced with only sentencing pending, the offending was serious and engaged strong public interest in safety and deterrence, delay was not attributable to the prosecutor, and any prejudice to creditors was minimal given the lack of recovery prospects; liquidation should not be used to avoid consequences of criminal conduct.
