Valentine Street was the family home and its sale proceeds are relationship property; jewellery was inherited and separate property and respondent did not covertly divert funds with the requisite mens rea and gross and palpable misconduct to trigger s 18A or extraordinary circumstances under s 13; late disclosure and transfers to Thailand were insufficiently proven as an intent to defeat the Act and New Zealand courts lacked jurisdiction over Thai real property; credibility and valuation findings of the Family Court were upheld, so appeal dismissed.
