The evidential interview containing repetition of the complainant's allegations was admissible under s27(3) as part of the defendant's statement and the trial Judge's unambiguous directions cured any risk from the officer's questioning about motive to lie; behavioural change evidence was peripheral and the standard prejudice/sympathy direction was adequate. No miscarriage of justice; appeal dismissed.
