Although most of the appellant’s pain is attributable to pre-existing spinal degeneration, the court found some neurological symptoms (left foot/toe) remained causally connected to the 1985 injury; because the current condition is not exclusively degenerative the suspension was incorrect, the review decision was quashed and entitlements reinstated (appeal allowed).
