The statutory demand was set aside because there was a substantial dispute on the face of the evidence: the dealer agreement was unsigned and unenforceable for indemnity claims, and the evidence (including the manager's statements that he lacked authority) supported a genuine dispute whether the manager had authority to bind the company under the individual recourse agreements such that SFL could not establish an indisputable debt.
