Leave to appeal denied because the trial Judge's directions were adequate in context given extensive evidence on intoxication and motive, no s122 direction was necessary, absence of a tailored sympathy/prejudice direction did not amount to a substantial miscarriage of justice, and expert evidence on alcohol effects was unnecessary as the matter was within common knowledge.
