The Judge found on the evidence that the undercover operation complied with standards from R v Wichman, there was no oppressive conduct by undercover officers (including at the lunchtime meeting), and the Crown satisfied the Court beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant's statements were not influenced by oppression; accordingly the challenged admissions and derivative evidence were admissible.
