Gault J's interim order, expressed as being 'Pending the on‑notice hearing on 12 April 2022', lapsed at or immediately after that hearing because Brewer J did not continue it; as a result the order was not binding on the defendant during the period of the alleged payments and the plaintiff failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt the order was clear and binding for those dates, so the contempt application must be dismissed.
