The District Court upheld the Corporation's decision because the medical evidence was equivocal and did not establish on the balance of probabilities that the appellant's ongoing incapacity since March 2006 was caused more likely than not by the 15 March 2006 fall; significant delay in claiming, sparse contemporaneous medical records, normal early x‑rays and the plausible role of degenerative disease meant ACC's refusal of retrospective weekly compensation and further entitlements was reasonable.
