The High Court held the Family Court judge did not err in dismissing interim maintenance: on the evidence the applicant had the ability to meet her reasonable needs, lacked sufficient evidential basis to attribute inability to the relationship or its end, had not demonstrated reasonable job search or explored reasonable alternatives, and there was no legal basis to treat the employment dispute as grounds for interim maintenance.
