TODD AARON MARTELEY v R [2017] NZSC 31
- Citation
- [2017] NZSC 31
- Court
- Supreme Court
Leave to appeal was refused because there were no exceptional circumstances to justify a direct appeal to the Supreme Court, the issues raised had not been considered by the Court of Appeal after the applicant abandoned his conviction appeal and therefore are not appropriately first determined by this Court, and the proposed sentence appeal did not raise a point of principle nor a risk of substantial miscarriage of justice.
