- High Court
On the interim record the court must protect the company’s ongoing trading and statutory obligations; accordingly the 19 July 2023 interim orders were varied on an interim basis to permit the plaintiff to engage the nominated accountant on standard terms without the defendant's approval, to pay trade creditors and his authorised salary, and to seek reimbursement of advances subject to documentary proof and a short objection period; contempt proceedings may proceed subject to the timetable set and the substantive claim was not set down for formal proof to allow the defendant to file a defence.
