The Court dismissed the judicial review application: the Review Officer did not err in law nor act unreasonably. Premature release of e‑dealing instruments before receipt of settlement funds exposed the vendor, bank and client to real risk and fell below the professional standard in s 12(b) of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006; the Review Officer permissibly modified the Committee's findings into a single unsatisfactory conduct determination and her orders were within power.
