The High Court held the Judge did not commit reviewable error: on the material available (including redacted affidavits) he had reasonable grounds to believe disclosure would likely endanger witness safety, he properly balanced s25 interests with the need to protect evidence, had regard to the s110(5) factors (gravity, importance, exceptional circumstances, impracticality of alternatives, corroboration) and the pre-trial anonymity orders were justified and must stand.
