Plaintiffs, as successful parties, were entitled to costs on the claimed scale and full disbursements including Mr Irwin's invoices because those attendances met r14.12 criteria; there was no basis to deduct $3,585 for discovery-related inspection; interest under the Interest on Money Claims Act is compensatory, the pleading omission was remediable and non-prejudicial, and s24 permits awarding interest up to the prescribed rate, therefore interest at 5% p.a. (non-compounded) was awarded on the specified sums; liquidation under s248 does not prevent the Court determining costs and interest.
