On the balance of probabilities the plaintiffs provided one half of the equity and made continuing payments that contributed to mortgage outgoings; defendants' account was inconsistent with contemporaneous documents (Bonus Bonds redemptions and bank deposits) and less credible; applying the presumption of resulting trust the defendants hold a 50% beneficial interest for the plaintiffs.
