The Court awarded costs to the defendants: $5,039.51 to the first and third defendants and $4,542.01 to the second defendant with disbursements of $500; different categorisations applied (category 3 for urgent interim injunction steps and category 2 for remaining steps) but a 30% uplift was declined because law on publication of hacked material is not well established and the public interest tensions did not justify increased costs under r 14.6(3).
