Leave to disclose information contained in suspicious activity reports under s47 is granted where the court is satisfied disclosure is necessary in the interests of justice after balancing the seriousness and importance of the evidence against confidentiality interests, and where appropriate redaction and confidentiality measures can limit downstream effects; applied to the present facts the court granted disclosure subject to anonymisation and limited recipients.
