The court denied the plaintiff's applications for particular discovery under r 8.19 for multiple specified categories because the requested documents were either not shown to be sufficiently relevant/adverse or the burden and disproportionate cost of retrieval (notably Access HR handling ~200,000 enquiries per month) made the orders unjustified.
