The court determined that a domestic purposes benefit is unavailable where the beneficiary is in a relationship in the nature of marriage; MSD's calculation of loss and reparation was correct on the material before the court; accordingly reparation of $42,937.84 to MSD was ordered and a fresh sentence of four months' community detention (with specified curfew), 100 hours' community work, and the reparation payment schedule was imposed.
