The court made orders in terms of the plaintiff's draft, imposing pecuniary penalties of NZD 1,330,000 on Mr Zhong and NZD 760,000 on Ms Ding, and ordered under s 493 FMCA that those penalties are to be applied first to pay the plaintiff's actual costs of bringing the proceeding; other cost issues were reserved.
