Claimant's PTSD was covered by the accident compensation scheme (coverage under the 1982 Act and deemed coverage under the 2001 Act via date of first treatment); accordingly s 317 of the 2001 Act bars compensatory common law damages for false imprisonment arising directly or indirectly from that personal injury; cross-appeal dismissed and High Court conclusion dismissing compensatory false imprisonment claim upheld.
