On the balance of probabilities the Court found that the irritant property or characteristic causing the appellant's hand dermatitis was present in his employment and not found to any material extent in his non-employment activities, and that the risk was significantly greater in his employment; accordingly the appellant satisfied s7(1)(a)-(c) and the Corporation's refusal of cover was reversed.
