Because the property was held by the Greengauge Family Trust and Alan Reid was never a registered proprietor and only a discretionary beneficiary without a proprietary interest or authority to grant security, he had no caveatable interest; accordingly the caveat could not be sustained and the application to prevent its lapse was dismissed.
