The Judge erred by not allowing a discrete discount for personal mitigation and by failing to apply the standard home detention conversion and appropriate credit reasoning in light of the three-strikes regime; applying the correct discounts and equivalences the five months home detention was manifestly excessive and must be substituted with two and a half months home detention.
