On the evidence before the Court, including positive references, the applicant's oral testimony and answers on professional duties under cross-examination, the Court was satisfied that the applicant possesses sufficient integrity, competence and understanding of professional obligations to be a fit and proper person; concerns about demeanour, timeframes and correspondence were insufficient to displace that conclusion and did not justify refusing admission under s55.
