Qualified medical and vocational assessments demonstrated the appellant had capacity for several alternative jobs with only restrictions on heavy lifting and prolonged bending/twisting; the appellant produced no clear, compelling, suitably qualified expert evidence to contradict those assessments, so the respondent's decision of 3 December 1999 that the appellant had capacity for work was correctly made and is confirmed.
