ACC had obtained timely and detailed medical evidence (Dr Adams, Mr Barnes, imaging) demonstrating pre-existing degenerative change and that the appellant's 2013 injury was a minor contusion unlikely to cause the later protrusion/extrusion; Dr Ng's contrary opinion lacked analysis and failed to explain the degenerative findings; on balance ACC had a sufficient basis to be not satisfied of causation and lawfully suspended entitlements, therefore the appeal is dismissed.
