The Court granted a non-party disclosure hearing because the appellant established a realistic evidentiary foundation that the complainant's GP files likely contain relevant material about a reported diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder which could materially affect the assessment of memory reliability on appeal; the grant is limited to a hearing to determine disclosure after applying the mandatory considerations in s29 of the Criminal Disclosure Act, and is without prejudice to admissibility or merit determinations at that hearing.
