The convictions were upheld because the magistrate's primary findings — uncontradicted police evidence of similar sexual services on 7 Nov, 25 Nov and 9 Dec and acceptance of PWs' evidence — supported a finding of persistent keeping of a disorderly house; from that established character the magistrate legitimately inferred managerial and assisting roles for the appellants and the single-date charge against the fourth was sustainable because evidence of prior user showed continuation to the charged date.
