- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCMP156/2014
The court found as a fact that the 2nd defendant had caused the transfer of a debt owed to the deceased to himself after death and gave inconsistent, incredible evidence; that constituted intermeddling and rendered him unsuitable to be an administrator; because the plaintiff is a minor and the 1st defendant would not accept appointment jointly with a professional, it was necessary and convenient under s36 to appoint professional administrators (Mr Kong and Mr Choi) to administer the estate; costs awarded to the plaintiff against the defendants.
