Court found on the uncontradicted and contemporaneous documentary and testimonial evidence that Viatech Engineering Ltd (R1) was the employer of the eight deceased and that Zen Pacific (R2) was the principal contractor; the deaths occurred in the course of employment and thus arose out of employment by operation of s.5(4)(a). Compensation was assessed under s.6 based on specified monthly earnings and apportioned under Schedule 7; statutory funeral expenses awarded for two local deceased; interest and costs awarded; R2's indemnity claim against R1 under s.24(2) to be heard subsequently.
