Section 11(7) confers a wide discretionary power to vary consent orders even absent a material change of circumstances; on the facts there was no evidence of impropriety or duress by the court so the Husband's downward variation was refused, L was not found to be a child of the family on the evidence but the Wife's needs properly include reasonable expenses of her mother and L, and the court fixed an ending date for periodical payments of 1 February 2008 (or remarriage if earlier).
