The Court allowed the review under s81B, held the aggregate 4‑year sentence was manifestly inadequate given the scale (shortfall at least US$29.8m; total estimated loss US$43.9m) and prolonged, sophisticated breach of trust; set appropriate starting points (8 years for counts 1–3 and 3 years for remaining counts), reduced overall for recoveries/cooperation to a 10‑year starting point, then reduced by one third for guilty pleas producing an overall sentence of 6 years 8 months imprisonment; original sentences quashed and replaced accordingly.
