The court refused to exercise its discretion to extend the appeal period because the applicant failed to demonstrate sufficient grounds linking the separate DCMP 128/2022 proceedings to the issues underlying the striking-out order; the DCMP matters concern 2023 enforcement events that are distinct from the 2022 events forming the basis of this proceeding, so the extension was not justified.
