The convictions are upheld: the particulars were not defective and the conspiracy was properly found; although the second appellant's verbal confession was wrongly admitted because the Crown failed to call the officer alleged to have made threats, the remaining evidence (identification by an accomplice accepted by the judge) was sufficient to convict him; the first appellant's sentence of five years is appropriate and appeals are refused.
