The use of the invalid identity card in this case was merely to represent that the appellant had the right to reside in Hong Kong; applying binding authorities, the appropriate sentence for that use is 15 months concurrent with the illegal entry offence, therefore the appeal is allowed and the sentences are ordered to run concurrently.
