The Committee, having obtained summary judgment disposing of the underlying claims, is the effective winner and is entitled to recover costs from the unsuccessful defendants (Mr Lai and Far Trillion) for those claims and for the O14 application; due to the complexity and volume of evidence the court ordered taxation forthwith (not summary assessment) for those costs with certificates for two counsel.
