The court exercised its case management discretion to permit joinder of Mr Man as 2nd plaintiff and the proposed re-amendments because the new claim arises from the same continuum of tenancy facts, raises largely similar legal issues already pleaded, the 2nd defendant was not unduly prejudiced given existing pleadings and disclosure, and resolving both claims in one trial served the interests of justice and efficiency despite the late stage.
