Given the plaintiff's unexplained repeated non-attendance at scheduled joint medical examinations and the necessity of the joint expert report for a just determination, the 1st Defendant's request was reasonable and justice required a stay; the District Court had jurisdiction under s48(5) of the District Court Ordinance; accordingly the action is stayed until the plaintiff attends the joint examination and costs are awarded to the 1st Defendant.
